About Us
At Cuschieri Auto & Truck Repair of San Mateo, CA, our mission is to serve our customers in a timely, professional manner and to make sure that all customer needs are met.
We specialize in servicing and repairing all vehicles, from cars to trucks, foreign to domestic, old to new, including classics. We also perform custom work.
Owner and founder Bobby Cuschieri grew up working on cars. His father was a mechanic for San Mateo County and repaired cars for the Sheriff’s Department. At night and on weekends, Bobby helped his father in the garage. As he got older, he worked on his friends’ cars and, at age 14, put an engine in a 1965 Mustang by himself.
After graduating from high school, Bobby served as a mechanic at Belmont Boat Service, working on boats during the day and building hot rods at night. After working there for 10 years and working in a hobby shop at night, he decided to turn the hobby shop into a full-fledged automotive repair business. Cuschieri Auto & Truck Repair opened its doors on May 1, 2011.
